Honest X: Is a sub brand of THE SKIN DEEP that explores intimacy, sexuality and desire. My contribution to it includes- Design Research, Development, Production and Design of the product as well as establishing a visual brand identity across its channels.
PROBLEM:
There are no tangible products that addresses the need for a facilitated safe space to talk about sex, desire and intimacy.
SOLUTION:
To mirror the impact that {THE AND} card game had in our community and create a product that would provide that same space for these topics.

PROBLEM:
Through a survey that was distributed to our community, there was a consensus that shame is the most popular reason as to why people don’t have conversations about sex, desire and intimacy.
SOLUTION:
To design a product that eliminates the perception of sex related products as shameful. We designed a product that wouldn’t be locked away in people’s bedroom but rather openly showcased in their bookshelves or coffee tables.
PROBLEM:
An important part of producing the design of this product is to ensure that there is a layer of consent built into the flow so that no one feels pressure to ever answer all questions.
Since we were starting to build a sub brand that has not much leverage or a community yet, we needed to create a value proposition that will allow for more long-term commitment to the product.
SOLUTION:
We created a gamplay option that integrates 5 prompt cards and 3 rounds that ensures the ability to feel comfortable and not add any to pressure to the answers.
We also created the option to buy the Starter Kit, which comes with 3 question packs that are basic and intended to not feel too intense right away. But also to be inclusive, we had 6 more packs that could be added for folks who are ready for more intense conversations. Additionally this solved our value proposition problem.
Brand Identity: The design identity that we went for across all our paid and organic channels is based on the needs of our community. We chose to make it MOODY + FUN + INCLUSIVE, which in the design world entails- bold colors, high contrast, discretion in imagery and rounded graphics.
